One of the primary barriers Latina/o/e/x college and graduate students experience includes the ever-increasing cost of college tuition. In fact, from 2008 – 2018, the average tuition at four-year public colleges in the U.S. increased by 37% (Source: CNBC). To help students identify funding opportunities, I have curated a list of databases, guides, and other resources.
Maria earned a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis in Public Policy at California State University, Fullerton.
