One of the primary barriers Latina/o/e/x college and graduate students experience includes the ever-increasing cost of college tuition. In fact, from 2008 – 2018, the average tuition at four-year public colleges in the U.S. increased by 37% (Source: CNBC). To help students identify funding opportunities, I have curated a list of databases, guides, and other resources.
Kelsey earned a B.A. in Sociology and Educational Studies from Furman University. She will begin her Ph.D in Ethnomusicology. She is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. in Counseling and Educational Development program at the CUNY Graduate Center.
