UC President’s Pre-Professoriate Fellowship
The University of California (UC)–Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Doctoral Diversity Initiative (DDI) effort is designed to enhance faculty diversity and pathways to the professoriate for underrepresented UCLA graduate students who received their bachelor’s or master’s degree from a public or private California HSI. As part of the DDI, the UC President’s Pre-Professoriate Fellowship aims to foster students’ interest in and preparation for the professoriate. Connect with your institution for more information.

Start by connecting with a financial aid counselor at your institution for more information about financial support for graduate students. Universities usually have scholarship offices that also provide support.
Also consider reaching out to local community foundations, sororities and fraternities, nonprofits, state government agencies, and professional associations.
