Being a daughter of immigrants was the driving force behind choosing higher education as my personal and professions goal. My parents always instilled that my education was something that they can never take away from me so it pushed me to keep moving forward when I felt that I couldn’t go on.
What challenges did you encounter along your educational trajectory? How did you overcome those challenges?

What advice do you have for individuals who are interested in pursuing a graduate degree?
Resiliency is key! When the world tries to shut the door on you, you must stand strong and keep going! It will take a lot of courage, but you can change the world if you just keep going.
